Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains VoilaPage's refund procedures, eligibility requirements, and how to request a refund for your subscription.
This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through VoilaPage (voilapage.com and app.voilapage.com). By making a purchase, you agree to this Refund Policy.
We may change this Refund Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Refund Policy regularly.
1. Refund Eligibility
Setup Fee (Frais de mise en place)
The one-time setup fee (currently €399) covers professional services including website design, development, SEO optimization, and domain transfer assistance.
Refund eligibility depends on the stage of work:
- Before work begins (within 48 hours of payment, no work started): Full refund minus a €40 administrative fee.
- Work in progress (website being designed/built, not yet delivered): 50% refund.
- Work completed (website delivered and deployed): No refund — the deliverable has been provided.
- After domain transfer has been initiated: No refund for the setup fee.
If you exercise your 14-day right of withdrawal before any work has begun, you will receive a full refund of the setup fee.
If you expressly requested early commencement of the service and work has begun, the refund will be proportional to the services not yet performed.
Subscriptions
If you purchase a subscription to VoilaPage, you are covered by our "satisfied or refunded" guarantee: new subscribers may request a full refund within 30 days of their first payment if they are not satisfied with the service. This guarantee applies to the first billing period only. Beyond the first 30 days, we remain open to discussion and finding a solution that works for both parties.
The 30-day satisfaction guarantee applies to the subscription only, not to the setup fee (which has its own refund terms above).
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
- Dissatisfaction with service: If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us and we will work with you to find a solution.
- Technical issues: If you experience technical problems that prevent you from using the service and we are unable to resolve them within a reasonable time, you may be eligible for a refund.
- Duplicate charges: If you are charged multiple times for the same subscription, we will refund the duplicate charges.
- Unauthorized charges: If you believe a charge was made without your authorization, please contact us immediately and we will investigate and process a refund if appropriate.
Abuse Prevention
To protect our service and ensure fair use, the following circumstances may be considered abuse and may affect refund eligibility:
- AI editing usage: If you have used AI editing credits extensively and actively used the service over multiple days, requesting a refund may be considered abuse of our refund policy. We invest significant resources in providing AI-powered website editing, and extensive use of these features indicates you have received value from the service.
- Website cloning: If we have already cloned and deployed your website, the resources consumed in that process (sandboxed execution, AI processing, hosting setup) represent delivered services.
We understand that circumstances vary, and we are always open to discussing your specific situation. Please reach out to us, and we will work together to find a fair solution.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Subscriptions where AI editing credits have been extensively used during the current billing period
- Subscriptions where website cloning and deployment has been completed
- Subscriptions where the service has been used extensively over multiple days
- Refunds requested after the subscription period has ended
- Refunds for subscriptions purchased during promotional periods, unless required by law
Right of Withdrawal
Your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (droit de rétractation) and our 30-day satisfaction guarantee are separate. The 14-day right is a legal right under French consumer law; the 30-day guarantee is a commercial offer. You benefit from whichever is more favorable to you.
2. How to Request a Refund

- Your account information: Your account email address
- Purchase details: The date of purchase and transaction ID (if available)
- Reason for refund: Briefly explain why you are requesting a refund

3. Refund Processing
Processing Time
Once your refund request is approved:
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days after approval
- Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed
Refund Amount
Refunds will be issued for the full amount paid, minus any applicable taxes or fees that cannot be refunded. If you received a promotional discount, the refund amount will be based on the actual amount you paid.
4. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will prevent future charges, but will not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. Refunds for the current period are subject to the eligibility criteria outlined above.
5. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company (a "chargeback"), we may suspend or terminate your account while the dispute is being resolved. We encourage you to contact us directly first so we can work together to resolve any issues.
6. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated through our website or via email. Your continued use of our paid services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
