Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how VoilaPage collects, uses, and discloses information about you. It applies when you use our websites, applications, and other online products and services that link to this Privacy Policy, contact our support team, or otherwise interact with us.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of this policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed about our information practices.
1. Collection of Information
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, you share information directly with us when you create an account, submit a website for cloning, provide editing instructions via chat, or otherwise communicate with us. The types of personal information we may collect include your name, email address, profile picture (via Google OAuth), and any other information you choose to provide. When you purchase our setup service, we collect additional information to deliver the service: your phone number (for service coordination and delivery), your current website URL, any special instructions for the website design, and if applicable for domain transfer, your current domain registrar or web agency's name and contact email.

VoilaNote Review Data
When you use a VoilaNote review page (by scanning a QR code or clicking a review link), we collect: your star rating, the review tags you select, any free-text comments you provide, the AI-generated review text, your browser language preference, and a cryptographic hash of your IP address (used solely for rate limiting — we do not store raw IP addresses). This data is associated with the business's review campaign, not with any personal account.

We obtain information from third-party sources. If you create or log into your account through Google OAuth, we will have access to certain information from Google, such as your name, email address, and profile picture, in accordance with Google's authorization procedures.
Website Content
When you use our cloning service, we access and download the content of the website URL you provide. This content is processed within isolated sandboxed environments and stored in a code repository for hosting purposes. VoilaNote review submission data (ratings, tags, generated review text) is retained for the duration of the business owner's VoilaNote subscription plus 90 days after cancellation, after which it may be deleted. Hashed IP addresses used for rate limiting are retained for the same period.
7. Data Subject Requests
Subject to certain limitations, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and to receive your data in a portable format, the right to ask that your personal data be corrected or erased, and the right to object to or request that we restrict certain processing.
